Customize your event homepage
Your event homepage is built from a few pieces you control from the admin. There isn't one big "edit page" button — instead each part of the page has its own simple editor. Here's the map.
The hero (the big banner at the top)
Open Events → [your event] → Branding & Logos. Everything in the top banner lives here:
- Logo — upload your event logo. It sits above the title.
- Hero media — upload a background video (it plays muted on a loop) or a background image. If you set both, the image shows first while the video loads. Keep videos under 300MB.
- Logo-only hero — turn this on if your logo already has the event name in it. The text title hides and your logo gets big and centered. (The date + location still show underneath.)
- Colors — your primary and accent colors theme the whole site, including buttons and emails.
- Description — the short blurb in the "About" section near the bottom of the page.
- Social handles — just the username (no @) and we build the links for you.
Click Save branding and refresh your homepage to see the change.
The event name, dates, and location in the hero come from the event itself — edit those on the event's Overview tab, not Branding.
The slides (marketing sections below the hero)
Open Events → [your event] → Slides. Slides are full-width sections that stack down the page — visitors scroll through them like a flyer. Click + Add Slide to make one. Each slide has:
- A title and optional body text
- An image (the background)
- A button — its label and where it links (e.g. "Register Now" → your registration page)
- A sport setting — leave it on "Generic" to show the slide to everyone, or tie it to one sport so it only appears by that sport's section
- A visibility setting — "Public" shows it to everyone; "Private" lets you preview it before it goes live
Use the up/down arrows to reorder slides, and Delete to remove one.
Slide types
When you add or edit a slide, pick a Slide type at the top:
- Basic — a full-width image with your headline and button
- Countdown — a big countdown to a date you choose (great for "registration closes" or "game day")
- Two-column — image on one side, text + button on the other (you choose which side the image is on)
- Map — an embedded map of your venue
- Video — a background-video section (put the video link in the Image URL field)
- Timeline — a simple schedule of times and labels
- Add-on — a promo card for something you sell, with a price
Pick the type and the editor shows only the fields that type needs.
Tips
- Square-ish logos look best in the hero. Wide banner images work best for slide backgrounds.
- Set a slide to Private first, check how it looks, then switch it to Public when you're happy.
- Less is more — three or four strong slides beat ten busy ones.
