Run game day
On the morning of your event, switch the admin dashboard into game-day mode (the top-right toggle). The dashboard swaps from its normal layout to a dense "ops" view with live counts, next-up games, and recent scores.
What game-day mode shows
- Check-in progress — bar chart by division
- Upcoming games — the next hour of games across all fields
- Score disputes — games where home and away reported different scores
- Late rosters — teams that haven't finished submitting their roster
- Live standings — auto-refreshes as games finalize
Common actions
- Score override: if a dispute stays unresolved 15 minutes after the game, open the game page and click Admin set score. This overrides both reported scores and locks the game.
- Forfeit: on the game page, click Forfeit and pick which team forfeited. The other team gets a forfeit win.
- Emergency announcement: lightning delay, field swap, etc. See Send announcements. You can fire both email and SMS from one form.
- Promote a player to captain: if a captain no-shows. Registrants -> captain -> Transfer.
After the last game
- Confirm all games are in Final state
- Spot-check standings against bracket results
- Open Finance and download the transaction CSV for your records
- Fire a "thanks for playing" announcement with a link to the results page
- Export SOTG scores if applicable for the awards ceremony
Save for next year
Open Clone event and clone this event into next year's empty shell. Sports, divisions, pricing tiers, and branding come along. Registrations, scores, and transactions do not.
